The Last Message

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

By using The Last Message you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

The Last Message lets you write a letter that is emailed to a chosen recipient only if you stop confirming you are here. A reminder is sent every chosen period (30 days by default); without a reply, warnings follow at +2 and +3 days, and then the letter is delivered.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your email active and reply to reminders.
  • Provide a correct recipient email you are entitled to share.
  • Do not use the service for illegal content, threats, harassment or spam.

3. Limitations

Delivery relies on third-party email services. We cannot guarantee delivery in every case. The service is not a will and has no legal value.

4. Unintended delivery

If you reply to none of the warnings, the letter is sent. You can pause or delete a letter at any time from your dashboard.

5. Plans and payments

The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans, when available, are processed by Stripe; Annual renews until cancelled, Lifetime is a one-time payment.

6. Account and termination

You can delete your letters and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will notify relevant changes. Portuguese law applies.
